Revivah Root ("Revivah Root," "we," "us," or "our") runs the store at revivahroot.com, where we sell Maca+ and related products. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it plainly. What we collect
We collect information you give us directly and information that's gathered automatically when you use the site.
Information you give us
- Order & contact details — your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number when you place an order or reach out to support.
- Payment information — your card is processed by our payment provider (Shopify Payments and, where offered, third parties such as PayPal or Shop Pay). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Communications — messages, reviews, and survey responses you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Cookies — small files that keep your cart working, remember preferences, and help us understand what's useful on the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
How we use your information
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to send order and shipping confirmations.
- To provide customer support and respond to your questions.
- To send marketing emails or texts if you've opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time (see below).
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to keep the store secure.
- To improve our products, site, and service.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, and only as needed to do their job:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and processes payments.
- Shipping & fulfillment partners — to pick, pack, and deliver your order.
- Email/SMS and analytics providers — to send the messages you've opted into and to understand site usage.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
Marketing & your choices
If you've opted in to emails or texts, every message includes a way to opt out — click "unsubscribe" in an email or reply STOP to a text. You can also email support@revivahroot.com and we'll remove you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email support@revivahroot.com. We'll verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
If you are in California, you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected, and ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or order history is active, and as long as we need it to provide service, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, and payments are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your information and to notify you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Children
Our products and site are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date above, and material changes will be posted on this page.
